Breakfeast was great, we actually did not need any more food till the evening. The location is excellent, 5 minutues from most attractions plus the fact that the tram to/back to the airport was a mere 3 minute walk. Additionally, the train station was only 5 minutes away (we actually visited Siena using the train for one day with no problem). We had such a lovely stay in the hotel that if we were ever to return to Florence again we would certainly choose this hotel again. The beds were very comfortable and clean. To sum it all up, we had a wonderful week in Florence.

It was an easy walk to and from the train station, but it feels separated from the transportation center because it is located in a nice open piazza. Everything was clean and comfortable in the room. Staff was welcoming and the breakfast area was right above the street so you could people watch in the morning! I think I actually prefer this location to something closer to the duomo, as it was still in a beautiful square, but was a bit more peaceful and separate from all of the action.

The location is very good, on the Piazza Santa Maria Novella, less than 10 minutes walk to the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio, and only 5 minutes walk to the train station. The neighborhood seemed very safe. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and spoke fairly good English. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of food and drinks.

The reception is very helpful and attentive, I got excellent recommendations for restaurants and gelaterias. The room was clean,.the bed and pillows very comfortable. There were slippers, excellent toiletries, a kettle with teas , cookies on the pillows, and mini- fridge. Breakfast was well supplied in a balcony overlooking a Piazza.
